The natural gas engine is a spark-plug ignition engine fueled by natural gas.
The natural gas power generation unit cancels the diesel engine's fuel system, adds an air and natural gas mixing system and ignition system; cancels the original speed control system, and uses an electronic Governor. In addition, safety and explosion-proof measures have been strengthened.
The overall layout of a natural gas generator set is basically similar to that of a diesel engine.
After the fresh air is purified by the air filter, it is mixed with gas in the mixer, and then the pressure is increased by the turbocharger compressor, and then sent to the intercooler, so that the temperature of the mixed gas is reduced, and the density is increased.
It is sent to each cylinder through the intake pipe. The mixer is installed in front of the supercharger.
The electronic governor is connected to the butterfly valve after boosting (after boosting and inter cooling) through a lever and controls the opening of the mixer butterfly valve according to the crankshaft speed signal collected by the sensor to change the engine speed and working conditions accordingly.
